How To Draw Cars Step By Step edition by Tim Rugendyke Lukas Niklasson Arts Photography eBooks
It doesn't worth $11. There's no that much info and excersises. There are some good examples on how to use perspective, but only one considering color and it uses pastels. Now what if I am not into pastels, why didn't you cover how to do that with only pencils and/or markers.Overall it just feels like there should be much more information and practice excersises for this price.
Would recommend for total beginners if it was just 5 bucks.
Now I'm going to see if "Drawing cars like a Pro" is better.

How To Draw Cars Step By Step edition by Tim Rugendyke Lukas Niklasson Arts Photography eBooks Reviews
This kindlebook of How To Draw Cars - Step By Step by Tim Rugendyke and Lukas Niklasson has details on both the materials and type of images to draw. For instance, ballpoint pens, clutch pencils, and colored pencils are some of the materials that are listed as good mediums for the drawings. Some of the marker brands recommended for drawing the cars are the copic markers, pantone markers etc. The authors also use various examples where a person could be shown in various steps (such as the 8 step tutorial on the Dodge Charger, Dukes of Hazard style).
Drawing cars and people are two of the hardest subjects to get right when doing art. this book is a perfect guide to help you understand the basic requirements and skills you will need. Like anything, this is a guide and generally people will combine this and the ways they individually find to get the finished article, but none the less it is excellent help and a good addition to a budding artists collection.
There's nothing negative I really have to say about this book. It serves its purpose as an art instruction book on how to draw cars. Not only does it describe the basic principles of constructing a car illustration , it also talks about technical illustrations and more. I appreciated the artist showing their progression over time. I think this added to the overall tone of the book and encouraging the readers to follow in their own progression.
All in all I would recommend this book to readers that are just beginning with art. Again this book is for beginners either in art or and drawing vehicles.
My name is Richard Andersen I am a freelance graphic designer in the automotive industry. i have been drawing cars for more than 15 years now. As im all self taught i really struggled for the first few years getting my cars to look right not knowing the right techniques or theories behind everything, having a book like this would have been amazing to get me started in the right direction. This book has some great techniques to get you started drawing cars quickly and easily with enough information to get you going but not to much to bore you... there are some great inside tips along the way like my favorite was "Draw what you see! not what you think you see" witch it a huge problem to artist starting out. I also loved the illustrations and examples in the book, very easy to follow and there is a nice mix of drawing style for inspiration. This book has definitely given me the confidence to try out some new car drawing techniques.
My first Ebook purchase and I really like it. This book has helped my drawing skills. Thank you Todd
Was not what I thought. More about artist work than a how to book. If you like this type of artist you may find it appealing.
